Greenville,SC.  – The Bears picked up a 4-3 win after nine innings over Furman University today.Â
Coach Fico's Take
There aren't enough words to explain just how proud we are of the team after this weekend. We dealt with adversity and handled the ups and downs of the game without losing focus on the end goal. Grace Taylor and the rest of the pitching staff paved the way for two wins against a very competitive Furman squad. She kept her composure and continues to get better every series.Â
Another freshman, Parris Wiggs, stepped up and fueled our offense in multiple clutch situations. Throughout the line up we battled hard and we found a way to keep pushing all weekend. Great weekend for the Bears!
