Men’s Soccer Receives United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

MACON, Ga.– Head Coach Brad Ruzzo and the men's soccer program were recognized by the United Soccer Coaches as 2022-2023 Collegiate Team Academic Award Winners.
The 2022 team maintained a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.52
A total of 801 soccer teams (307 men, 494 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 academic year. Of that total, 179 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized. Both the Men's and Women's Soccer team received
The 2022 team excelled on the classroom, but also on the pitch. The Bears finished 8-5-6 and made it to the SoCon Tournament Championship Game.
The Bears return to the pitch on August 19 for their final exhibition before they travel to Indiana to take on Cal State Fullerton on August 24.
