SERIES HISTORY
Mercer leads the all-time series 2-0, with both previous meetings coming in Macon. The two teams last met in 2021, when Mercer defeated MVSU 10-0.

LAST TIME OUT
Mercer outshot Evansville 24-7, with 10 shots on goal but couldn't manage to find a goal in a scoreless season opening draw against Evansville. Junior midfielder Chandler Lewis-Jenkins led all players with six shots, including three on goal. Three Mercer freshmen saw their first career minutes.

SCOUTING MISSISSIPPI VALLEY STATE
MVSU is coming off a 2-1 season opening loss to SoCon foe The Citadel on Friday. The game was played in Macon at Betts Stadium.

MVSU had a winless 2022 season, going 0-12-2, including an 0-7-2 mark in conference play. The Devilettes scored just five goals on the season.

MVSU finished MVSU defender Rachael Aka-Ety was named Preseason All-SWAC.
