MACON, Ga. –The Mercer Men's soccer team will complete their road trip Sunday, August 27 against University of Southern Indiana. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET at Strassweg Field in Evansville, Indiana.

LAST TIME OUT
Mercer opened its season with 6-1 defeat at the hands Cal State Fullerton. Freshmen forward, Barzee Blama would net his first colligate goal in his first game for the Bears. Graduate goalkeeper Sai Brown would see the field for the first time for the bears, making three saves.
SCOUTING SOUTHERN INDIANA
Last season Southern Indiana finished 2-12-3 and went 2-5-1 in Summit Conference play.
Through one game this season, the Screaming Eagles are 0-1 coming off a 3-1 loss against Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Southern Indiana goalkeeper, Andrew Klott would be tested throughout the 90 minutes making eight saves.
Southern Indiana was selected to finish sixth in eight-team OVC conference in the preseason. The Screaming Eagles had one player named as the OVC Player to Watch for 2023 in midfielder/forward Nick Faddis.
