SERIES HISTORY | LAST MEETING
This will be the third matchup between these two program. USF currently leads the series 2-0. The last meeting between these two was on September 9, 2022, in Tampa, Florida where USF took the match 2-0.

LAST TIME OUT
Mercer secured its first victory of the season following a 2-0 win over Southern Indiana on Sunday, August 27. Freshmen forward Barzee Blama would net his second goal of the season in his second game for the Bears. Sophomore midfielder Fernando Arteaga would capitalize off the mistakes made by the USI defenders, putting the bears up 2-0 in the 69th minute. Graduate goalkeeper Sai Brown would start his first game in his career, and it would end in a shutout.

SCOUTING SOUTH FLORIDA
Last season South Florida finished 9-7-4 and went 5-1-3 in American Athletic Conference and was an NCAA tournament team.

Through two game this season, the Bulls are 0-2 coming off a 2-1 loss against Seattle University. The Bulls opened their season with a 2-0 loss against No. 6 ranked Washington.

South Florida was selected to finish fourth in nine-team AAC conference in the preseason. USFs Shion Soga was named to the Preseason AAC All-Conference Team.
