MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's soccer team welcomes Wofford to Betts Stadium Thursday night for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

Mercer has never lost to Wofford in women's soccer. Mercer leads the all-time series 8-0-1. The two teams played to a scoreless tie last year in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Wofford hasn't scored more than one goal in a game against the Bears in series history.

The Bears responded in the 18th minute when Ciara Whitely found Jada Moorman at the top of the box on the right side. Moorman's shot went to the top right corner and grazed the post and went in to level the game at one. It was Moorman's conference leading ninth goal of the season.

Wofford enters Thursday's game with a 3-6-2 overall record. The Terriers are 1-1 in conference play, defeating VMI 2-0 and falling to Samford 5-0.
Wofford was picked to finish ninth out of 10 teamas in the SoCon in the preseason coaches poll.
The Terriers are averaging 0.91 goals per game and allowing 1.82 goals per game. They have allowed twice as many goals as they have scored (Allowed - 20, Scored 10). They average 11.50 shots per game and 6.70 shots on goal per game.
Wofford's leading goal scorers have three goals each and only one player has more than one assist on the year.
