Following a scoreless first half, Afolabi opened the scoring in the 51st minute off of a cross from Kadeem Agard. Mercer would score again in the 80th minute, as a long throw in from Nick Wanzer was headed by Afolabi to Barzee Blama, who headed the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal.Â

Afolabi secured a brace in the 85th minute, collecting an errant Air Force pass at the top of the box and ripping a shot into the bottom left corner of the goal.  Â

Goalkeeper Trevor McMullen made five saves in the match to collect his nation-leading seventh clean sheet of the season. On Tuesday, Afolabi and McMullen were named the Southern Conference offensive and defensive players of the week, respectively.Â
