Bears Conclude Fall Schedule With Fripp Island Intercollegiate

MACON – The Mercer men's golf team wraps up their fall schedule on Friday with the Fripp Island Intercollegiate in Fripp Island, South Carolina. The three-day event will be played at Ocean Creak Golf Course at Fripp Island Golf Resort and is hosted by USC Upstate.

The Bears last played on October 7-8 at the Cullan Brown Collegiate, hosted by the University of Kentucky. Mercer finished the event tied for sixth in the 15-team field. Nathan Trodd led the way for the Bears, placing in a tie for third at six-over. It was the best finish by a Bear so far this season.

The Fripp Island Intercollegiate features a seven-team field, including five opponents from the Big South.
