Ahmad Robinson Named SoCon Player of the Week

MACON, Ga. - Senior guard Ahmad Robinson has been named the Southern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for all contests from Nov. 25 - Dec. 1 as announced Monday afternoon by the league office.
With the Bears competing in Fort Myers, Florida, in the Fort Myers Tip-Off, Robinson led the team to a 90-89 overtime win over Jacksonville on Monday, Nov. 25, finishing with a season-high 25 points with four assists, and three steals. The next day, the senior from West Orange, New Jersey, logged 19 points, six assists and five rebounds and three steals in a 75-72 setback against Miami (Ohio).Â
For the week, Robinson shot 15-for-27 (55.6%) from the field, including 5-for-9 (55.6%) from beyond the arc.
Mercer hosts West Georgia on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. before traveling to Stetson on Sunday, Dec. 8.
