Bears Set To Start Play At Wexford Intercollegiate

MACON – The Mercer men's golf team travels to Hilton Head, South Carolina for the Wexford Intercollegiate. The 54-hole tournament is hosted by Francis Marion at the 6,884 Yard, par-72 Wexford Plantation Golf Course. Day one will consists of two rounds of 18 holes, while day two will be the final 18 holes of play.

THE FIELD
The Bears will be matched up against 17 other schools that feature 85 other competitors. The schools included in this event include the hosts Francis Marion, App State, Charleston Southern, ECU, Dayton, Gardner-Webb, Georgia State, High Point, Presbyterian College, Radford, Richmond, Samford, South Carolina Aiken, Temple, Winthrop, Xavier and Cleveland State

THE LINE-UP
Leading Coach Payne's squad is senior Tobias Jonsson. Joining Jonsson are Jay Spivey, Jacob Uyesato, Jonathan Parker, and Trey Mixon
