MACON. – Graduate student Chase Cope would lead the way for Mercer with two goals, however Le Moyne would go on to defeat the Bears 10-6 on Sunday at Five Star Stadium in Macon, Georgia.

Five different players scored goals for the Bears (1-4), and Senior Collin Kelley notched 12 saves between the pipes for MU.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Le Moyne went on a 4-0 scoring run within the first five minutes of the game.
The Bears responded with 3 goals across the rest of the first quarter. Christian Laureano, Jackson Hirschy, and Chase Cope all scored for the Bears.
Le Moyne found the back of the net one last time in the first quarter. The Dolphins scored two more goals before the Bear responded with a goal from
The Bears started the second half with two goals, while the Dolphins found the back of the net once in the third quarter.
The Dolphins would end the game scoring two goals in the fourth quarter.

TOP BEARS

Graduate Midfielder Chase Cope tallied a team-high two goals against Le Moyne
Senior Collin Kelley turned in 12 saves between the pipes. It is the fourth time this season that Kelley has notched 10 or more saves.

NOTABLES

Le Moyne moves to 2-3 and takes the first game in the series between these two programs.

The Bears will return to the field next Saturday, March 16 when they travel to Detroit Mercy and begin ASUN conference play.
