
Mercer Concludes Regular Season Saturday At Chattanooga

MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's tennis team concludes its regular season on Saturday at Chattanooga. The match is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m. from the UTC Tennis Center.
Chattanooga leads the all-time series against Mercer 14-3. However, Mercer has won each of the last two matches. The Bears won both matches last year, including a 4-1 win in the SoCon Tournament quarterfinals.
Mercer enters Saturday's match looking to finish the season with a winning record in SoCon play for the second season in a row. The Bears are currently 3-3 in the SoCon.
Mercer is coming off a dominant 7-0 win over UNCG on senior day last weekend. Fittingly on senior day, senior Lekha Varudandi stepped up and clinched the match for the Bears.
Chattanooga enters Saturday's match with an 8-12 overall record and 1-5 record in conference matches. The Mocs are coming off two close 4-3 losses to Samford and Western Carolina.
Rozalie Dohnalova owns the best singles record this season for Chattanooga with a 13-7 record in singles matches. She is 3-3 in SoCon matches. Dohnalova and Alice Hall have been great for the Mocs as a doubles pairing as they are 12-6 on the season.
