Bears Travel To Air Force For Midweek Match-up Wednesday

MACON – The Mercer men's lacrosse program will travel to Colorado to take on Air Force on Wednesday, April 17 at 2 pm.

SERIOUS HISTORY
Wednesday's game will be the thirteenth meeting between these two programs. Air Force leads the series with a 10-2 record against the Bears. The last time these two programs played, Air Force came out victorious defeating the Bears 8-14.
LAST TIME OUT
Sophomore attackman Zach Basisty's first half hattrick led the way offensively, however the Utes fourth quarter run sealed the 20-9 victory over the Bears.

Six different players scored goals for the Bears (2-9). Dillon Bush would find the back of the net twice while, Parker Junod, Christian Laureano, Jack Parolin, and Taylor Dooley each added a goal for the Bears. Between the pipes graduate goalkeeper Colin Kelley notched 17 saves and a save percentage of .459.

Air Force is led by Bill Wilson, who is entering his seventh season as head coach for the Falcons. The Falcons are currently 7-4 with wins over Stony Brook, Queens, Utah, Lindenwood, Cleveland State, Bellarmine, and Detroit Mercy. The Falcons are currently leading the ASUN with a record of 6-0.
