MACON, Ga. -Â The Mercer women's soccer team welcomes Berry College to Betts Stadium in its home opener on Monday at 6 p.m.

Monday will be the first all-time meeting between Mercer and Berry.
LAST TIME OUT
Sydney Farr brought down the ball with a superb first touch at the top of the box, turned and struck a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner of the goal in the 86th minute to break a 1-1 tie and send Mercer to a season opening 2-1 win over Kennesaw State Thursday night from Fifth Third Stadium.

Berry is a Division III college located in Rome, Georgia. The Vikings play in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA). Monday is Berry's season opener.
Last season, Berry finished the year with a 5-10-1 overall record and went 1-5-1 in conference play. Berry had held four opponents scoreless last season. In 16 games last year, Berry scored 17 goals and allowed 23. The Vikings' leading returning goal scorer is sophomore Sophia Knight who scored five goals to go with one assist last season.
