
Dooley Drafted By Buffalo Bandits

MACON - Former Mercer attackman, Taylor Dooley, has been drafted by the Buffalo Bandits as the 15th pick in the first round of the National Lacrosse League Draft on Sunday.
Dooley graduated from Mercer in May of 2024 after spending four years as an attacker, the first two under coach Surmam and the second two for coach Danehy. During his senior campaign, Dooley recorded three goals, nine assists, including a season-high five assists against Hampton, 13 ground balls and six caused turnovers. He also appeared in 12 games, making eight starts for the Bears.
The Buffalo Bandits selected Dooley as a defender and the Ontario, Canada native will return back to the states to continue his career professionally for the back-to-back NLL Cup Champions. Dooley was among one of eight draftees to be selected by the Bandits on Sunday.
