Women's Golf Defeats Wofford In 18-Hole Match

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Mercer women's golf team defeated SoCon foe Wofford in an 18-hole match on Monday at the Country Club of Spartanburg.

The teams played six golfers in their lineup, counting the lowest four scores to the team total. Mercer finished with a team score of 13-over, 301 to Wofford's 17-over, 305. Mikayla Dubnik had the lowest round of the day as she carded an even par round of 72.

Sophomore Ella Mäki-Tanila made her first ever hole-in-one on the 164 yard, par 3, third hole. She went on to card a round of 2-over, 74.
