Women's Tennis Begins Spring Season Monday At Georgia Tech

MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's tennis team start its spring portion of its 2024-25 schedule on Monday, Jan. 13 when the Bears make the short trip up to Atlanta to play Georgia Tech. The match will begin at 1 p.m. from the Byers Tennis Complex.
This year's team brought back four players from the 2023-24 squad, while welcoming in five newcomers. Freshman Marie Bannmeyer closed the fall season by going 3-0 in singles and winning her draw at the Wofford Invite. Bannmeyer went 6-3 in singles matches in the fall.
Lea Kozierowski had the best singles record for the Bears in the fall at 7-2. Veteran players Emilia Cosatto and Marina de Diego Quinones will look to help lead the Bears to a strong spring season.
