UNITED WAY RECOGNITION
Each year, Mercer asks employees to support the United Way of Central Georgia. Mercer has a long tradition of focusing on service to others and our annual United Way campaign offers us an opportunity to come together to change the lives of local families and individuals struggling in poverty, and help prevent others from falling into it.
This year, Mercer University set a goal to raise $130,000 for United Way. Mercer's faculty and staff raised $146,498 to support United Way of Central Georgia as well as United Way agencies in Atlanta, Savannah, and Columbus. Mercer University administrators and organizers will present a check on behalf of Mercer University to United Way's President and CEO, George McCanless during the first media timeout in the first half of Saturday's game.

SERIES HISTORY

LAST TIME OUT
Ahmad Robinson scored 33 points including two clutch free throws with 7.5 seconds to play to help guide Mercer to a 79-78 win over UNCG Wednesday night from First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The win snaps a four-game losing streak for the Bears and Mercer becomes the first team to hand UNCG a loss on its home court this season as the Spartans entered the game 7-0 on their home court this season.
NEED TO KNOW
Saturday's game features the third and fourth leading scorers in the SoCon in Mercer's Ahmad Robinson (17.3 ppg) and Furman's PJay Smith Jr. (16.7 ppg).
