Mercer Heads To Mississippi For The Ally

MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's golf team is is set to open play at its fourth tournament of the fall season as they travel to West Point, Mississippi to compete in The Ally Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Tennessee at Cherokee Country Club.
The 54-hole, three-day event will see teams play 18 holes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Monday's opening round for the Bears will start at 9:40 a.m. as Mahima Vurupatur will be the first golfer off the tee for the Bears. Mercer will be playing alongside competitors from Georgia Southern and Southern Miss.
This is Mercer's fourth tournament of the fall season after finishing tied for 8th out of 15 teams at the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate in Knoxville, Tennessee. Katie Scheck finished tied for ninth to lead the Bears at the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate.
