
Kim Tied For Seventh Place After Two Rounds At The Ally

Kim carded a second round of 2-under, 70 on Tuesday
WEST POINT, Miss. – Riley Kim and Katie Scheck each continued their stellar play in Tuesday's second round at The Ally from Old Wavery Golf Course in West Point, Mississippi.
Kim carded a second round of 2-under, 70 to move into a tie for seventh place and Scheck carded a round of 72 (E) and is tied for 14th place.
As a team, the Bears are in eighth place out of 15 teams at 16-over, 592. No. 27 Florida has a one-shot lead over No. 10 Arkansas as the Gators sit atop the leaderboard at 17-under, 559 after 36 holes. The Bears shot two strokes better on Tuesday than they did in the first round on Monday. Mercer carded a second round of 7-over, 295.
Kim's round of 2-under, 70 consisted of three birdies and just one bogey. Kim is 3-under for the tournament and is just three strokes back of the 36-hole leader from Vanderbilt, Elizabeth Rudisill who is 6-under for the tournament. She has been excellent on the par 4's this tournament as she is 4-under on them which is the second best score on par 4's in the field of 84 golfers.
Scheck had three birdies in her round of 72 with one of them coming on the par 3, sixth. She is 1-under for the tournament and five shots back of the lead.
Kim and Scheck each have made 27 birdies through their first 36 holes which is tied for the second most pars in the field. As a team Mercer has 115 pars which is tied for the fourth most in the field.
The final round will begin Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. ET / 8:30 a.m. CT with Bhoomi Jagtap the first Bear to tee off.
