Women's Golf Concludes Play In 9th Place At The Ally

Riley Kim led the Bears with a 1-over, 217 to finish tied for 16th

WEST POINT, Miss. – The Mercer women's golf team concluded play at The Ally in ninth place out of 15 teams in an SEC heavy tournament hosted by Mississippi State in West Point, Mississippi.

As a team, the Bears finished with a score of 31-over, 895. No. 13 Florida won the tournament with a team score of 26-under, 838.

Riley Kim had the lowest score for the Bears with a 1-over, 217. She had rounds of 71 (-1), 70 (-2), and 76 (+4). Kim had the second most pars in the field of 84 golfers with 39 pars. She was great on the par 4's throughout the tournament as she went 1-under on them which was tied for the fifth best score in the field.

Mercer will conclude its fall season by hosting the Mercer Invitational from River Forest Golf Club in Forsyth, Georgia, November 2-3.
