MACON, Ga. - The Mercer men's lacrosse team will make their third and final trip to New York for a match up against St. John's in Queens on Saturday, March 15 at 11:30 a.m.

SERIES HISTORY
Saturday's game will be the first ever meeting between the Bears and the Red Storm.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bears fell to Le Moyne last Saturday, March 8 during Mercer's spring break trip to New York. The Bears battled with the Dolphins throughout the first half until Le Moyne's offense started to pull away in the third quarter, resulting in a 10-7 loss for Mercer.
Dillon Bush led the offense for the Bears, keeping his scoring streak alive with two late goals on the afternoon. Dylan McKelvy was a presence on the field with a goal and two assists against the Dolphins. The other four Bear goals came from Luke Fox, Michael Frederick, Ganon Cope and Kade McNeil. On the defensive side of the field, Thomas Venzie picked up four groundballs and caused two turnovers while Rand Paddack posted nine saves.
SCOUTING ST. JOHN'S
The Red Storm are led by Justin Turri who enters his third season at the helm for St. John's. The Red Storm finished the 2024 season with an overall record of 4-11 and a 1-4 record in the Big East.. St. John's currently sits with a record of 2-6 with 87 goals on 310 shots (.281) and 52 assists across eight games.
The Red Storm have five players with double-digit goals, including the leading goal scorer, senior attackman Brian Kelly, who has 18 goals, 11 assists and 12 ground balls on the season. Following behind is freshman Ryan Ormond and redshirt sophomore Adrian Nowak who have posted 13 and 11 goals, respectively. On the defensive side of the field, freshman Quinn Falasca has picked up 28 groundballs and has caused 15 turnovers for the Red Storm. Graduate student goalkeeper Patrick Scarborough has recorded 75 saves (.493) across eight games.
