Bears Welcome Chattanooga To Macon Sunday

MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's tennis team welcomes Chattanooga to Macon on Sunday for the Bears' second SoCon match of the season. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. from LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center.

The Mercer women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match at home to East Carolina, 5-2 Tuesday afternoon from the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center.

Play will begin on Tuesday 1 p.m. with doubles matches followed by singles matches.

SCOUTING CHATTANOOGA
Chattanooga is 8-5 on the season, and have won its last two matches over Bellarmine and Tennessee Wesleyan. The Mocs have struggled on the road however as they are just 1-4 away from Chattanooga. Sunday is Chattanooga's first SoCon match of the season.

Savanna Preson owns Chattanooga's best singles record this season at 9-3. She's played 11 of 12 matches as Chattanooga's number two or three singles player. In doubles, Madlena Orlova and Presson are 6-3 when paired together to lead the Mocs.
