MACON, Ga. - The Mercer women's tennis team begins its Southern Conference slate on Monday at defending champion ETSU. The match will begin at 2 p.m. from the Dave Mullins Tennis Complex.

SCOUTING ETSU
ETSU won the SoCon regular season and tournament championship last season. This year the Bucs are 6-4 and ranked No. 62 in the ITA Division I rankings.
After beginning the season 0-3, the Bucs have won five of their last six matches to not only get back above the .500 mark but also reach as high as No. 58 in the ITA National Poll. ETSU, which is coming off a 7-0 win at home against Radford on Friday, has only lost to power conference teams (Kentucky, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Alabama) in 2025.
Sophomore Julia Millan owns the best singles record this year for ETSU at 8-2. She has won eight straight singles matches after dropping her first two matches of the season at Kentucky and Wake Forest.
Only one pair of doubles has a winning record for ETSU in Alessandra Caceres and Daniela Rivera who are 6-2 together.
