ATLANTA – Redshirt junior Charity Obazughanmwen registered a time of 55.96 on the way to a fifth-place finish in the 400m Dash, while Atlanta native Kamryn Copeland logged a ninth-place showing in the Triple Jump, as the Mercer track & field team wrapped up competition at the Georgia Tech-hosted Yellow Jacket Invitational on Saturday.

The Bears also debuted their 4x100m Relay squad on Saturday which finished seventh among a stacked field at Tech's George C. Griffin Track & Field Facility. Three other Bears tallied top 20 finishes amid Saturday's action in the capital city.

Mercer's sprinters and jumpers will return to action, April 4-5, when they head to central Alabama for the Troy-hosted Doc Anderson Multi & Invitational. MU's distance squad is scheduled to compete at the Kennesaw State-hosted Don McGarey Invitational, March 28-29.
