
Bears Come Up Short Against The Bonnies

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The Mercer men's lacrosse team battled against St. Bonaventure this afternoon not trailing behind until a fourth quarter surge from the Bonnies put St. Bonaventure up by four, leaving Mercer scoreless in the last quarter with a final score of 9-5.

Dylan Mckelvy led the way for the Bears with back-to-back goals in the first quarter. Dillon Bush kept his scoring streak alive with another goal while Jack Sullivan and Kade McNeil each added a goal of their own. On the defensive side of the field, Kobe Handsor scooped up five groundballs and Quinn Kelley caused two turnovers. Between the pipes senior goalkeeper Rand Paddack recorded eight saves on the afternoon.
