
Mercer To Close Out Spring Break Trip Against Le Moyne

MACON, Ga. - The Mercer men's lacrosse team will close out their spring break trip to Upstate New York with a Saturday matchup against Le Moyne on Saturday, March 8 at 12 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
Saturday's game will be the second meeting these two teams with the first meeting just last year at Five Star Stadium on March 10. The Dolphins came away with a 10-6 win over the Bears.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bears faced St. Bonaventure earlier in the week on Thursday, March 5 where the two squads battled back and forth the entire game until the Bonnies were able to pull away in the fourth quarter to secure a 9-5 win over the Bears.
Dylan McKelvy led the way for the Bears with back-to-back goals in the first quarter. Dillon Bush kept his scoring streak alive with a goal in the third quarter while Jack Sullivan and Kade McNeil each added a goal of their own. On the defensive side of the field, Kobe Handsor scooped up five groundballs and Quinn Kelley caused two turnovers. Between the pipes senior goalkeeper Rand Paddack recorded eight saves on the afternoon.

The Dolphins are led by Dan Sheehan who enters his 27th season at the helm for Le Moyne. The Dolphins finished the 2024 season with an overall record of 3-8. Le Moyne currently sits with a record of 2-1 with wins over Canisius and St. Bonaventure and their lone loss coming against Lafayette.
