Mercer Unveils 2025 Men's Soccer Schedule

Mercer will prepare for the regular season with three exhibition matches, the last of which will be played at home against College of Charleston on August 16. The Bears will begin the 2025 campaign with a home contest against Oglethorpe on August 21 before playing host to defending Missouri Valley Conference champion Evansville on August 24. MU will then hit the road to take on another reigning conference champion, the Memphis Tigers from the American Athletic Conference, on August 28 before a matchup with Lipscomb in Nashville on August 31.
Mercer's challenging schedule continues into September as the Bears return home for an in-state clash against Georgia State on September 3. The two-match home stand concludes on September 7, with South Florida making their first-ever trip to Macon.
The Orange & Black continue non-conference play with a trip to Colorado, taking on Air Force on September 11 in Colorado Springs and traveling to Denver on September 14 to challenge the perennial power and 2024 College Cup participant Denver Pioneers. Mercer returns to Macon on September 20 to celebrate senior day against North Florida before wrapping up the month with a road clash at UNC Wilmington on September 27.
Mercer will open Southern Conference play on October 4 at home when it tangles with defending SoCon Tournament champion Furman. Sandwiched in between road conference tests at Wofford and ETSU is another in-state tilt at home against Georgia Southern on October 14. The final non-conference match of the season comes on October 21, when the Bears play host to Jacksonville. MU's matchup with SoCon foe VMI on October 25 is the Bears' final home fixture of the season and has been tabbed as the Third Annual Baba Agbaje Memorial Game which honors the life of the program's former standout that tragically passed away in April 2023. Mercer wraps up the regular season on November 1 with a trip to Greensboro to battle UNCG.
The 2025 Southern Conference Tournament is scheduled to get underway on November 7 at designated campus sites, while the championship match of the league's annual postseason event is scheduled for November 15 or 16.
