
Men's Basketball Announces 2025-26 Schedule

MACON, Ga. - The Mercer men's basketball team unveiled its 2025-26 schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The Bears enter the second year under head coach Ryan Ridder.
Mercer's schedule features 13 non-conference games in addition to the 18-game Southern Conference schedule. The Bears will play 15 games at home inside Hawkins Arena this season.
Mercer will travel to face an SEC opponent in its season opener which is set for Monday, Nov. 3 at Tennessee. Following the trip to Knoxville, the Bears will welcome LaGrange to Hawkins Arena for the home opener on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
Mercer will play two ASUN teams as part of the SoCon vs ASUN Challenge. The Bears will host Lipscomb on Sunday, Nov. 9 and travel to face Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, Nov. 22.
Three of Mercer's final four non-conference games of the year are on the road. The Bears will visit Clemson on Saturday, Dec.13, Mercer will then head down to Orlando, Florida to play UCF on Wednesday, Dec.17, followed by a west coast trip to Pullman, Washington to play Washington State on Saturday, Dec. 20.
The Southern Conference slate starts on New Year's Eve when Mercer will visit Furman. Mercer's first home conference game is on Wednesday, Jan. 7 as The Citadel makes the trip to Macon.
The 2026 Ingles Southern Conference Basketball Championship will take place at Harrah's Cherokee Center in Asheville, North Carolina, from March 6-9.
