Mercer Visits Florida A&M Tuesday

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's tennis team is back on the road to play Florida A&M Tuesday. The match is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. from the Althea Gibson Tennis Complex in Tallahassee, Florida.

LAST TIME OUT
The Bears are coming off a strong 7-0 win over College of Charleston last Saturday in Macon in the home opener for the Bears.

MATCH DETAILS
Play will begin on Tuesday 12 p.m. with doubles matches followed by singles matches. Mercer is 4-0 all-time against Florida A&M. The two teams last met on Feb. 5, 2024 in Macon where the Bears won 6-1.

Florida A&M is 0-2 so far on the season with losses to Florida Gulf Coast and Middle Tennessee. Last season, Florida A&M went 11-11 overall and 7-2 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).

The Rattlers won the 2025 SWAC Tournament and earned an NCAA Tournament berth. The Rattlers return 2025 All-Conference selection, Reagan Harris. Harris was also named to the SWAC All-Tournament Team after the Rattlers won the SWAC Tournament.
