Mercer Welcomes Furman To Hawkins Arena Wednesday Night

MACON, Ga. - The Mercer men's basketball team is set to welcome the Furman Paladins to Macon Wednesday night. Tip off is set for 7 p.m. ET inside Hawkins Arena.

The Mercer men's basketball team fell on the road to Samford, 69-49 Saturday night from the Pete Hanna Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

SERIES HISTORY
Wednesday's game will be the 43rd all-time meeting between Mercer and Furman. Furman leads the all-time series 30-12. The Paladins won the first meeting between the two teams back on New Year's Eve, 74-72.

Furman's leading scorer is true freshman Alex Wilkins who is averaging 18.5 points per game which ranks fourth in the SoCon. He is also averaging 5.0 assists per game which is second in the conference behind Baraka Okojie.
