GREENSBORO, Ga. – Katie Scheck finished tied for third and the Mercer women's golf team finished in third place in the 15 team field at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational from Great Waters Course in Greensboro, Georgia.

Mercer finished the tournament at 24-over, 888. UNCG came in second at 11-over par and Virginia Tech won the tournament at 4-over, 868.

Katie Scheck finished tied for third in the field of 80 players at even par, 216. South Dakota State's McKenzie Mages won the tournament at 4-under, 212. Scheck finished with 12 birdies over the 36-hole tournament which was tied for the most in the field.

Only Virginia Tech finished with more birdies than the Bears as the Hokies made 41 birdies and Mercer finished with 38 birdies.

Tylar Whiting finished tied for 10th at 5-over, 221. She played well on the par 5's as she went 3-under par on them which was tied for the second best score on the par 5's.

Up next for Mercer is the Florida State Match-Up in Tallahassee, Florida from March 20-22.
