MACON, Ga. - The Mercer men's lacrosse team will host St. John's on Saturday, March 14 at 11 a.m. at Five Star Stadium in its 2026 nonconference finale.

SERIES HISTORY
Saturday's game will be the 2nd meeting between these to squads with the first ever meeting dating back to just last year in Queens, N.Y. The Red Storm came away with the 20-16 win over the Bears on Saturday, March 15 at Belson Stadium.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bears are coming off of a loss on the road against Marquette in Milwaukee, Wisc. last Saturday when the Golden Eagles defeated the Bears 21-12 at Valley Fields.
Mercer's offense was led by senior attackman Michael Frederick who came to life in the second half to record a hat trick and reach a career milestone of 100 points. Freshman midfielder Nick Church and sophomore attackman Will Zylstra posted two goals a piece while freshman attackman Jonathon Benerofe found the back of the net for the first time in his career. Dillon Bush, Luke Fox, Chance Haynie and Connor Corkill were responsible for the remaining goals for the Bears. On the defensive side, junior defender  Thomas Venzie caused two turnovers and scooped up three ground balls on the afternoon.
SCOUTING ST. JOHN'SÂ
The Golden Eagles are led by Jake Richard who enters his fourth season at the helm for St. John's. The Red Storm finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 4-11 and went win-less in the Big East with a record of 0-5.
The Red Storm currently sit with a record of 2-5 with wins over Quinnipiac University and Hofstra University, with a close loss to Delaware 11-12.
