Fans unable to make the trip to Jacksonville, Fla., can still follow all of the action for free via a live scoring link provided by the UNF athletics department.
Â
The Bears (3-7) roll into northeast Florida on the heels of a pair of tough 4-3 setbacks earlier this week in Fort Myers. MU built a 3-1 lead on the team scoreboard in Wednesday's tilt at Florida Gulf Coast before surrendering a three-point rally to the Eagles. Mercer crafted a 3-2 advantage in Thursday's neutral site matchup with red-hot St. John's, but the Red Storm ultimately prevailed with victories at Nos. 1 and 2 singles.
Â
The Ospreys (8-4) had their seven-match win streak stopped with a 4-2 loss to visiting Georgia Southern on Saturday afternoon. GSU won a trio of matches in singles play, including a three-set marathon win on Court No. 3, to clinch the outcome. UNF is a combined 14-6 at Nos. 4 and 5 singles this season, while also registering a combined 7-4 clip at No. 2 singles.
Â
Jean Deloziere and Joao Portugal have teamed up to post eight wins in 10 doubles matchups on Court No. 3 during the spring.
Â
UNF has captured 10 of the 11 previous matchups in their 20-year-old series with Mercer, but the Bears came out on the better end of a 4-3 decision last season in Macon.
