High School: Was a four-year player for Kendall Huisman at Ontario Christian in Ontario, Calif…Was a 2007 All-League and All-Conference selection…in 2009 she was the team’s MVP and a first-team All CIF-SS-Div. IV player…Played travel ball with the 18 Gold Case Batbusters coached by Ad Moran and Bob Wenk…She was a member of the 2010 Inland Valley All Star Team and was a second-team All-League selection her senior year.
Personal: Chose to come to Mercer because of the high academic standard and plans of majoring in holistic and early childhood education while at Mercer…Her older sister, Kelley, played for the Mercer softball team from 2004-07 and is now beginning her second season as the assistant coach under Mike Raynor…Kristen is the daughter of Terry and Jim Bretscher.
