2013: As a junior, Woody was awarded NFCA Second Team All-Region and A-Sun First Team All-Conference honors...She led the conference, and broke her own record, in hits for a season with 80 and batted a clean .437 that was also tops in the A-Sun...finished the year with the second-best on-base percentage in the conference (.490) and tied for second on the team in total bases with 95...led the team in runs (46) and steals (23)...her lone home run of the season came at Northern Kentucky and was an inside-the-park home run, the second of her career.
2012: In her sophomore season, Woody was named an Atlantic Sun First Team All-Conference member and a NFCA All-Region Second Team member… Won the Crons Achiever Award for the month of Feb. for her performance at the plate…Woody led the A-Sun and set the team single season hit record with 74…Led the conference in hitting with a .430 average and also had 22 multi-hit performances…Was third in the conference in runs scored on the year (44) and hit one home run against Mississippi Valley State (3/18)… Had a season high four hits coming against Ohio (3/2)...She posted 13 RBI… Boasted a twelve game hit streak…One of the best base-stealers in the A-Sun with 24
2011: Was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshmen Team after a breakout season for the Bears…Finished third in the A-Sun in hits with 62 and was the highest single season total since Jamie Madruga had 70 in 2008…The 62 hits are also the fifth most in a single season in Mercer softball history…Her .333 batting average was ninth best in the conference as well and the Bears’ highest since 2008…She also finished tied for fourth in the league with 22 stolen bases on the year…Woody’s 13 RBI was sixth best on the team, impressive coming from her lead-off position…Led the Bears with a team-high 19 multi-hit games including three games with three hits…Also tallied the team’s longest hitting streak of the season – 11 games…She also had the second best streak of reaching base – 11 games…Scored a season-high three runs and recorded her first-career hits in the season opener going 2-for-3 against Radford (2/12)…Recorded hits in the first three games she played in to begin her career…Had her first-career RBI in a 7-5 loss at Georgia Southern(2/12)…Went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored at Charleston Southern(2/18)…Went back-to-back-to-back with at least two hits against Savannah St. and Mississippi St.(2/22, 2/25)…Posted two RBI and scored a run after going 1-for-3 at the plate against Bowling Green(2/26)…Finished a doubleheader split at North Florida going 4-for-8 with a pair of RBI(3/26)…Had her first-career double in a 3-2 A-Sun victory over Stetson(4/3)…Posted two RBI and scored a run while batting 2-for-3 and a walk in a 8-0 game one win over ETSU(4/15)…Had five hits and scored two runs in a doubleheader against in-state rival Georgia St.(4/16)…Scored twice and had a hit in game two of the Bears the doubleheader sweep at Belmont(4/21)…Recorded a hit in every game of the A-Sun Tournament including two hits in an opening round win over Campbell(5/11).
High School: Lettered four years at Whitewater High School in Fayetteville, Ga…Was MVP in 2006 when the team took fifth place in the AAAA Georgia State Tournament...Batted .388 in 2007 and won the Varsity Softball Slugging Award...Her Whitewater team again took fifth at the 2007 AAAA State Tournament...Named Player of the Year on the 5-AAAA All-Region Team in 2009-10...Named to the All-County First Team and All-Region First Team (2008-09 and 2009-10)…Was a 2009 Georgia Dugout Club All-State Team member.
Personal: Was a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club at Whitewater High School…Chose Mercer because of its small campus size and the academic atmosphere and is majoring in Education…Has two older sisters, Kali and Savannah.
