2014: Started in all 56 games and finished with the team’s second batting average at .333 on 144 at-bats … Primarily played at third base, but started the season as the catcher … Finished tied for second most doubles in the Atlantic Sun with 14 … Led the team in slugging percentage with a .632 average … Finished third on the team in home runs with nine and second on the team in runs scored with 40.
2013: Sloat played two years for head coach Katie Brosky at St. Jonh's River State College in Palatka, Fla., where she was named Academic All-State...She hit nine home runs in here two years there.
High School: Kaylynn is a four-year letterwinner for the late B.G. Gasker at St. Augustine High School, as well as a two-year letterwinner in soccer. Kaylynn was named both All-Conference and All-County all four years of high school.
Personal: Born on Jan. 6, 1992... daughter of Mike and Erica Sloat... Favorite sports team is the New York Yankees... Majoring in Biology and is Pre-med and hopes to become a plastic surgeon.
