2011: Made an appearance in six games, including one start in sophomore year in Macon…Came in mostly in relief situations throwing 7.2 innings in the season… Her lone start of the year came in an 8-6 victory over Samford (3/10)…Threw a season-high 42 pitches against Ball St. in two innings of work…Struck out a season-high two batters in a 13-0 shutout against Bowling Green (2/26)…Finished with a 6.39 ERA.

2010: Appeared in four games as a true freshman for the Bears in 2010…Recorded her first-career start and win in an 18-0 victory over Savannah St. (2/24/10)…Pitched a total of 4.1 innings giving up six hits and just one earned run…Struck out three batters in that span and posted a team-low 1.62 ERA.

High School: Lettered all four seasons at Cascia Hall Prep in softball and basketball…Was named the All-Metro Newcomer of the Year and All-Metro Pitcher of the Year as part of her softball high school accolades…Was also named to the All-Region and All-Conference teams in basketball…Held a 1.37 ERA and a .308 batting average throughout her high school career…As a senior recorded 160 strikeouts in 19 games and batted .423…Was also recruited by Villinova, Lehigh and Washington.

Personal: Was a member of National Honor Society and an Honor Roll student in high school…Was president of the Spanish Club and an AP Scholar at Cascia Hall Prep…Chose Mercer for academics…Is a pre-med major…Has two younger brothers and is the daughter of Craig Anderson and Lisa Owens.
