SEATTLE, Wash. – Mercer Men's Soccer dropped a 2-1 overtime decision to the Redhawks of Seattle on Thursday night in Seattle, Wash.

STAT OF THE MATCH
Mercer was outshot by the final tally of 28-4 on Thursday night, including 9-1 in shots on goal. The Bears yielded 17 shots in the final 47 minutes of play, registering zero shots of their own.

MAN OF THE MATCH
Despite allowing two goals, Jeremy Booth recorded a season-high seven saves in tonight's contest. Booth kept the Bears in the game with numerous fingertip saves to run his season tally to 20 total saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bears captured the lead late in the first half thanks to Bagrou's third goal of the season in the 43rd minute. Despite taking only four shots in the first half, Mercer needed just one on target as Bagrou's goal found the far right corner for the 1-0 advantage. Bagrou's strike was set up by Kobe Perez, his first assist of the year.

Mercer conceded the equalizer in the 73rd minute as Medo Youssef netted his second goal of the season, assisted by Alex Roldan and Julia Avila-Good.

Neither team was able to score in the closing 17 minutes, setting up overtime for the fourth consecutive contest for the Bears.

Seattle netted the game-winning goal in the 92nd minute as Sergio Rivas shot the ball past the outstretched arms of Booth for the 2-1 Redhawk victory.
