Men’s Tennis Aims for Four-Straight with Match at Alabama State

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's tennis team will put their winning streak on the line as they travel to Montgomery, Ala. to face Alabama State Friday, Jan. 26, in a match that was rescheduled from Sunday. The match will be held at the Olean Black Underwood Tennis Center with a start time of 2:30 p.m.

The Bears return to action coming off a 5-2 win at Georgia Southern this past Tuesday. Mercer is currently riding a three-match winning streak and will look to take down the defending Southwestern Athletic Conference champions in Alabama State.

Alabama State finished the 2017 season with a 9-12 overall record, boasting a perfect 7-0 mark in conference play.

Following Friday's competition, the Bears will return to Macon for a three-match home-stand beginning with hosting Kennesaw State on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
