Coach Kayden's Take
"We were better team-wise today as Spencer [Ball] and Stanton [Schorr] carried us with top-10 finishes individually," said head coach Kirk Kayden. "I'm proud of those two for their efforts as they continue to play good golf this spring.
Â
"We're so close to having some great finishes this spring; we just have to get more production out of our No. 3-5 players. There are plenty of guys on this team capable of producing those results, they just haven't been as consistent as we'd like them to. They will get there, and we'll be a team to beat down the stretch."
Â
Up Next
Mercer will return to the Peach State and co-host the Linger Longer Invitational with Kennesaw State on March 18-20 at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Ga.
