Â
What's At Stake
With just six regular season games reÂmaining, the Bears are in a good spot to contend for the SoCon Regular Season Title. Mercer is 8-2 in conference play and with a sweep this weekend, could advance to 11-2 to tie the Spartans atop the conference leaderboard. UNCG has a week off from SoCon play and will return to league play next week against SamÂford. The Bears will close out the regular season with Furman.
Â
Meant to be Rud
Meghan Rud continues to add to her legÂacy in Bears' Softball history. The senior outfielder is 5th in career batting average (.345), 7th in on-base percentage (.426), 6th in games started (217), 3rd in at bats (707), 2nd in career runs (161), second in triples (11) and then third in career base knocks (244). Rud needs five runs to take over the top spot and needs 14 at bats to register the most at bats in program hisÂtory.
