Mercer Men Open SoCon Play at Wofford

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer men's tennis team will begin Southern Conference play against Wofford at noon on Saturday, March 16 at the Reeves Tennis Center in Spartanburg, S.C.

Scouting the Terriers
Wofford enters Saturday's SoCon match with a 4-9 overall record and 1-1 mark in league action. The Terriers have lost four of their last five matches, including a 7-0 defeat by ETSU. They did get back to .500 in conference play with a 4-0 win against Samford the following week. Wofford is led by head coach Rod Ray, who is in his 18th year at the helm. Mercer picked up a 5-2 win over Wofford last season.
