Mercer Returns to Berry College This Weekend

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer women's track and field team will make its second trip of the season to Rome, Ga. for the Berry College Field Day Invitational on April 12-13 at Valhalla Stadium.

The two-day meet will mark Mercer's final tune-up before heading to Birmingham, Ala. for the Southern Conference Championships on April 26-28. Mercer opened its 2019 outdoor season at Berry College's Victor Icebreaker Duals on March 2.

The Bears are most recently coming off a trip to Oxford, Ala. for the JSU Girls Day Out meet, where sophomore Cherrish Wright broke her own 100-meter hurdles school record with a first-place finish of 14.35 seconds.
