Coach Kayden's Take
"We had a great start today, but just couldn't quite finish the round," head coach Kirk Kayden said. "Our par five play needs to improve a little bit if we're going to move up in these tournaments. We had two really good finishes by Tyler Copp and Spencer Ball – who both showed some pretty good consistency through the week. We just have to have a little bit better par five play and a little bit better discipline when it comes to hitting the middle of the green when the pins are tough. But, the guys are working hard and I'm confident we will be ready to go at Charlotte."
Up Next
Mercer will head to Charlotte, N.C., Sunday to Tuesday for the River Run Collegiate hosted by Davidson and Charlotte at the River Run Golf Club.
