Bears Announce Changes to Softball Schedule

Mercer cancels series with EKU and postpones doubleheader with FAMU; Adds Wesleyan on Tuesday

MACON, Ga. – Mercer head softball coach Stephanie DeFeo announced changes to the team's opening week of games for the 2021 season on Friday afternoon.

Due to inclement weather, the Bears' season-opening series against Eastern Kentucky on Saturday and Sunday has been canceled. Additionally, Mercer's scheduled midweek doubleheader against Florida A&M has been postponed to April 21 due to COVID protocols. The games against the Rattlers will remain at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

In light of these alterations, Mercer has added a home doubleheader against Wesleyan College for Tuesday. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
