Joining Rogel with experience for the Bobcats are juniors Cole Heller and Lukas Zavrel, sophomore Ben Grunert and redshirt freshman Sebastian Nunez. Of the bunch, Heller and Nunez had each tallied four wins apiece in 2020 prior to the COVID-19 shutdown.

Of the newcomers this season a pair enter as transfers, while the other two are freshmen. Jack Sorel is a Division I transfer from Kennesaw State University, while Jesus Villamizar Abia comes from Division II Cameron University. The two rookies are Argentinian Jorge Robinson as well as Enzo Sergi, who gives the Bobcats a pair of players from France.

The Blue Hose come into the matchup with the Bears without playing a match this spring. They were slated to play on Feb. 12 against Stetson, but it was canceled.

In doubles play, Benson and Stenger teamed up for three matches and came away with a win in No. 2 doubles. They were 18-17 last season in doubles.
