The Bears return to LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center for a midweek tilt
MACON, Ga. – The Mercer Bears men's tennis team welcomes Jacksonville State to the LeRoy Peddy Tennis Center on Wednesday for a non-conference contest. First serve is set for 2:30 p.m.

Scouting the Gamecocks
Jacksonville State comes to Macon with a 5-1 record and winners of its last three matches. The lone loss for Jacksonville State came on Feb. 7 to Kennesaw State. The Gamecocks have not played since beating Chattanooga, 6-1, on Feb. 24.
 
Jacksonville State has played two players, Joaquin Vallejo and Guillermo Agost in the No. 1 singles spot this season. Vallejo has played five of the six matches at No. 1 singles, going 4-1. Agost went 1-0 in his lone match at that position. Maj Tomac has the most singles wins on the season with five for the Gamecocks.
 
In doubles play, the Gamecocks have been dominate as they are 15-2 this spring. Thomas Norwood and Aljaz Kaplja are 4-1 in No. 1 doubles. Guillermo Agost and Jordi Blaacnhar are 5-1 in No. 2 doubles, while the No. 3 team of Tomac and Vallejo are a perfect 6-0.

The Bears return to action this weekend when they travel to South Carolina to face Wofford in SoCon action on Saturday and Clemson in a non-conference tilt Sunday.
