Bears Set For UGA Classic

MACON, Ga. – The Mercer Softball team is set to play in the UGA Classic Saturday-Sunday. Due to weather, the schedule of games was changed, moving the Illinois game Saturday and the UGA game to Sunday. Mercer will play Dartmouth on both days.

MERCER OUTLOOK
Overall, the Bears are 6-17.

Diamond Williams holds the highest batting average of .353. Rebeca Laudino leads in runs (12) and Kenlie Harvey leads in hits with 19. Adele Braun leads in doubles (4) and RBIs (11). Harvey and Braun are the only Bears with two home runs this season. Alyssa Woods leads with two triples. Hedgecock leads the team and the SoCon with 17 total walks.

Hannah Pitts leads from the circle with an ERA of 4.93 and a WHIP of 1.13.

SCOUTING ILLINOIS
Overall, the Fighting Illini are 11-9.

Megan Ward leads with 14 runs and has the highest batting average was .386. She is tied with Kailee Powell in doubles with nine. Powell leads in walks with seven total. Avrey Steiner has recorded 25 hits. Delaney Rummell leads with six homers, while Jaelyn Vickery has two triples. Stevie Meade leads with 15 RBIs.

Tori McQueen leads from the circle with an ERA of 2.48 and a WHIP of 1.17.

SCOUTING DARTMOUTH
Overall, the Big Green are 2-10.

Maddie Katona has a batting average of .300. Billie McFadyen leads with 10 hits and is tied with Alaana Panu with four runs. Panu and Kelly Beaupre each have two doubles. Kate Farren is the only player to hit a homer so far this season. Beaupre and Farren are tied with four RBIs. Beaupre leads the team in walks with five total.

Brooke Plonka leads from the circle with an ERA of 2.97. Megan Hagge holds the lowest WHIP of 1.30.

SCOUTING #15/19 GEORGIA
Overall, the Bulldogs are 22-4.

Sydney Chambley has the best batting average of .425 and leads in runs (28), doubles (10), and home runs (9).  with 28. Sara Mosley has one hit more than Chambley and leads with 32. Mosley is the leader in RBIs with 28. Jaiden Fields and Ellie Armistead have two triples each. Lacey Fincher has 11 walks.

Madison Kerpics leads from the circle with an ERA of 1.74. Kylie Macy has a WHIP of .95.
