Bears Drop Match to Georgia Southern

STATESBORO, Ga. –  The Mercer men's tennis program (6-8) fell, 4-0, to Georgia Southern (9-3) on Saturday afternoon at the Wallis Tennis Center.
The Eagles won the doubles point after victories on courts one and three. Marceau Foulihoux/Nemanja Stefanovic were tied with Judson Blair/Pierre Mouesca, 2-2, when the point was clinched.
Stefanovic played an incredibly close first set, reaching a tiebreak, but fell 7-6, and went unfinished on the day. Foulihoux was one game away from sending his singles match to a third set on court five when Georgia Southern clinched the match.
UP NEXT: Mercer and Troy will face off in a neutral site match in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on Wednesday, March 8 at 1 p.m. (ET).
